Honda Cars Makati, Inc. records outstanding awards in the 14th National Customer Service Skills Competition (NCSSC)

Honda Cars Makati, Inc.’s (HCMI) outstanding history and tradition in the NCSSC dates back in 1994, and 22 years after, HCMI is still at the forefront in this annual competition of service skills, knowledge, and customer handling practices. To date, HCMI has proudly earned 49 major awards in the Mechanical category and 14 major awards in the Body and Paint category.

To promote the never-ending quest in achieving and sustaining the highest form of service excellence and to further hone the skills of its service associates, HCMI once again participated in the 14th National Customer Service Skills Competition (NCSSC) conducted by Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. at Sta. Before participating in the 14th NCSSC, the HCMI Service Team and representatives from the Customer Relations Department went through the Service Associate’s Skills and Knowledge Competition, dubbed as HASKCOM. This consists of a range of technical and theoretical challenges and exams specifically designed to test their knowledge and proficiency in customer handling, vehicle diagnostic skills, component inspection, troubleshooting, as well as accuracy and quality of workmanship. Moreover, these associates also underwent consistent training programs such as the Technician Skills and Knowledge Enhancement Program (TESKEN), Cadet Engineer Training Program, and In-dealer Instructor Program to validate and enhance their skill-level. This incorporates the willingness to learn amongst fellow service associates, hoping that the accumulated skills and trainings can be applied not only in the NCSSC, but also in performing their daily work in the dealerships.
